Working on Crazy quilt blocks
Hi Reader I hope you're having a good day. Here in Iowa we continue to have hot, humid weather and rain storms. Luckily the wind storms that were supposed to come through last night didn't but more are expected tonight. It has been a strange summer. Have you ever made Crazy Quilt blocks? I have made Crazy Quilt placemats and a long time ago I made a cute little mini quilt using just one block. This is my Improv Star mini quilt. Right now I am starting to work on quilt blocks for the September Island Batik blog hop. I am sewing the pieces together on my vintage 15-91 Singer and then going over to my Ever Sewn Sewing Machine that I bought several years ago and using the different embroidery stitches. This is going to be a beautiful quilt! If you are looking for Quilt Block tutorials, be sure and check out some of mine. Don't forget to order the MSQ Advent Box before they run out, I'm glad I purchased mine in January. It will be so much fun to open a new gift every day in December!
