A table runner from the past and I'm getting better

Hi Reader

Can you believe that tomorrow is the first day of September? It is still hot and muggy here but cool weather has to be on the way. I can't wait to put on a sweatshirt.

This has been a long week with very little quilting going on. I haven't left the house in over a week and still have a terrible cough, looks like I caught a major cold. Nights are still exhausting. I have all kinds of things to catch up on.

I did some mindless sewing each time I went downstairs to let Rusty outside. I've been sewing 2½" squares into 16 patch blocks for a new quilt. The squares have been in my stash for a long, long time. With this kind of sewing I don't have to worry if my brain is a little fuzzy.

I also just posted the September Color Challenge and the quilt blocks I made. I hope you like the color this month

We always use table runners and placemats so I thought I'd show the runner that we've been using lately. Would you believe I made it in 2016? Can you see Rusty looking at me? He is probably wondering why he isn't being asked to pose.

I thought for sure I did a tutorial on the runner but can't seem to find it, I even mention int the post that I will. 10 years is a long time to wait for a tutorial isn't it?
