A table runner from the past and I'm getting better
|
Hi Reader Can you believe that tomorrow is the first day of September? It is still hot and muggy here but cool weather has to be on the way. I can't wait to put on a sweatshirt. This has been a long week with very little quilting going on. I haven't left the house in over a week and still have a terrible cough, looks like I caught a major cold. Nights are still exhausting. I have all kinds of things to catch up on. I did some mindless sewing each time I went downstairs to let Rusty outside. I've been sewing 2½" squares into 16 patch blocks for a new quilt. The squares have been in my stash for a long, long time. With this kind of sewing I don't have to worry if my brain is a little fuzzy. I also just posted the September Color Challenge and the quilt blocks I made. I hope you like the color this month We always use table runners and placemats so I thought I'd show the runner that we've been using lately. Would you believe I made it in 2016? Can you see Rusty looking at me? He is probably wondering why he isn't being asked to pose. I thought for sure I did a tutorial on the runner but can't seem to find it, I even mention int the post that I will. 10 years is a long time to wait for a tutorial isn't it?
