A new Cactus Flower Table Topper in a larger size

Hi Reader

Good morning from Ankeny, Iowa. It was a rainy morning, there was finally a break so I could get Rusty outside for a potty break. He really gets stressed with storms. We had rain yesterday morning right when he had to go to the vet for his nail trim and weigh in. We aren't doing well on his diet but at least he hasn't gained anymore.

Recently I had someone email me and shared a photo of the beautiful Cactus Flower table topper she made. Thank you JoAnn!

She also asked if I had ever written a tutorial for a 12-inch Cactus Flower quilt block as she wanted to make a larger table topper. Would you believe I had never done it! Well, I thought that would be a fun project so I grabbed some fabrics out of my stash and made the 12 inch blocks into a table topper.

I even added a PDF of this blog post to my Free Resource Library.

I completely forgot to remind you to pick up the free August Quilt Calendar.

You can find it and all of the other months here.
